Birthday Time!

I've always considered myself the most intense birthday celebrator. 

That is, until I met Brooks Hulse Burr.

This kid is awesome!!! And I had no idea how much he loves birthdays. He goes above and beyond to make me feel special, and I just can't wait for our combined efforts in making our kids' birthdays awesome.

Brooks watched Haylee's kids while she and my mom took me to lunch at Joe Banditos. YUM. 

Afterward, Brooks took me to Midnight in Paris and it was really good. If you are a fan of historical literary figures, you will LOVE this movie. Oh. And we had the entire theater to ourselves (hoot hoot!).

 

Macaroni Grill - Oh my lanta. This place is the BEST. We both got such delicious dishes and were so happy with how everything tasted. A+ for sure.

When we got back to the apartment, I had a big surprise in our living room...my entire family was there! Brooks had called and planned everything out so that they would all be there waiting for us. 

They sang happy birthday, and we all enjoyed Brooks' AMAZING homemade red velvet birthday cake!

I am so grateful that my husband took so much time to make my birthday so special. I sure love this guy!
